We serve the people of our community by identifying obstacles to equitable health care and finding ways to overcome them. We create solutions for barriers related to income, transportation, occupation, age, gender identity, language and more.

Although we have 5 locations in northwest lower Michigan, we continuously look for ways to reach more patients and bring quality health care into each community–developing community partnerships, building new relationships and bringing wellness closer to you.

Mobile Clinics

NMHSI has mobile clinics that allow us to host events and bring health care into rural communities.

Services offered in our mobile clinics include dental care and vaccinations for flu and COVID-19.

School Partnerships

Manistee Public Schools

NMHSI proudly partners with the Manistee Intermediate School District and CentraWellness to provide onsite medical and mental health services to students ages 5-21, through the MAPS CareConnect program. We believe students are better able to perform in school when their basic health care needs are met. By offering accessible care for both preventative and acute care within the school district, we intend to provide our students a holistic approach for overall wellbeing. For this vulnerable population, and everyone in northwest lower Michigan, we are committed to bringing wellness to life!
